Stop the presses: President Obama has picked Kentucky to win it all in March Madness.
An avid basketball fan, Mr. Obama told a questioner in Cleveland Wednesday that he chose the undefeated Wildcats to become NCAA champions in his bracket.
“I wasn’t that creative — I picked Kentucky,” he said of the top-seeded team.
But the president also said he hasn’t spent much time lately watching college basketball on TV, and warned that his advice might be faulty.
“I haven’t won since my first year in office,” Mr. Obama said. “I wouldn’t necessarily take my bracket and copy it.”
