WOODLAND, Wash. (AP) - Rescue officials and the Cowlitz County sheriff’s office are looking for a teenage boy who went missing in northern Oregon when he and his friends tried to swim across Lewis River near Woodland, Washington.

KGW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1GlkDwx) the boys told deputies their friend said he was cold and having trouble swimming. He went underwater and was reported missing Sunday afternoon.

Cowlitz Dive Rescue, Woodland Fire, Clark Fire, and Woodland Police joined the search. Deputies say the boy is presumed drowned.
