I would like to commend the Washington Times for its series entitled, “Wounded Warrior Caregivers.” The topic of wounded warriors is discussed too infrequently and that of their caregivers receives even less attention. I am in awe of all the women who have had to transform their lives in order to transform the lives of their severely wounded husbands. Both the wounded warrior and caregiver are absolutely awesome. I am so glad that this newspaper has brought the topic to the fore. In addition, I think the Elizabeth Dole Foundation is also underreported — thanks for highlighting this fantastic organization.
