The world’s largest American flag was made Wednesday out of Lego bricks.
A father-and-son team of master builders joined the National Museum of American History and Lego to put together the giant plastic monument to patriotism.
“This is massive but it’s a pretty simple pattern to follow,” said Dan Steininger, who put together the project with his son, ABC News reported. The team was also aided by almost 15,000 visitors to the museum.
A local Fox News affiliate reported that over 100,000 Lego bricks were used to make the flag.
“What a sweet medium Legos are,” said Mr. Steininger, who has been building special Lego projects for 26 years, ABC reported.
