OPINION:
I found the article “Hillary Clinton campaign starts Black Lives Matter outreach: report” (Web, July 27) interesting but in need of some explanation.
Of course Democrats say “black lives matter” to them. Without black women having inconvenient pregnancies, the abortion industry would lose about 35 percent of its business, which would be a financial disaster for Democrats and would collapse one of the pillars of the party.
All lives matter to the pro-life Republican Party. Valuing life is the Christian thing to do. That includes saving all babies, regardless of race. In the process, Republicans try to keep pregnant women from becoming murderers by using drugs such as RU486 or carrying innocent babies to the abortion facilities. It also includes keeping fathers, relatives, friends, etc., from becoming accomplices to murder when they encourage and finance the abortions.
