Dressing up as King Leonidas is off limits in Beijing.

A Chinese salad company’s “Spartan” warrior march was stopped on Wednesday by police, and male models were thrown to the ground for wearing Greek costumes.

Police said they were called in to stop “foreigners in short pants” from disrupting public order on Thursday, The Associated Press reported. Roughly 40 models paraded through China’s capital while promoting Sweetie Salad.

The men, who carried bowls of salad in plastic containers, posed for pictures with women before authorities ended the parade, AP reported.
