D.C. police released a video of a violent assault in the hopes of identifying the five suspects who beat and stomped on a person before stealing two bicycles.
The assault occurred at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of R Street in Northwest. A video taken of the incident shows a group of people beating a person who is clinging onto a bicycle. One man tries to yank the person away from the bike while another jumps up and down on top of the person.
Images of the five suspects in the attack are also shown in the video, released late Wednesday.
Police are asking for help in identifying the people involved and are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
