Scientology officials were reportedly so “shocked and embarrassed” after learning they stiffed a couple pizza delivery drivers that they ended up tipping them $300 after the fact.

Two Papa John’s employees delivered 180 pizzas, totaling $2,094.89, last week to the Church of Scientology building in Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

The drivers reportedly didn’t receive a penny for a tip despite the four separate trips it took to complete the delivery. Their manager even gave the drivers $10 each out of pity.

“Scientology strongly encourages members to give a percentage of their income to the org, yet the pizza guys got 0%,” TMZ said.

A Scientology representative called TMZ after the original story broke, saying, “Senior officials were shocked and embarrassed and sent $300 to the restaurant.”
