LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Obama speaks softly, carries ‘selfie’ stick

OPINION:

With now diurnal regularity Islamic terrorists perpetrate atrocities while our petulant president takes to the golf course and calumniates those willing to properly describe the growing miasma. Incredibly, President Obama freely apologizes for radical Islam while displaying no compunction about marginalizing Christians and Jews and virtually ignoring their commonplace murders. The world is aflame because of an orchestrated and meticulous jihad and it is desperate for American leadership, yet Mr. Obama dithers, vacillates and fallaciously describes the malevolence as random, thereby substituting rhetoric for strategy, oblivious to the fact that denying reality does not change or eliminate it. While events demand a president with a “big stick” foreign policy, we unfortunately are left with a narcissistic, incompetent president with a ’selfie stick.’ Indeed, Mr. Obama and his closest advisers are the political equivalent of the Washington Generals. Is there no one on the bench to replace this JV squad?
