The Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition announced Monday that a handful of potential presidential contenders are slated to speak at the group’s 15th annual spring kickoff on April 25.
The conservative Christian group said Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are all confirmed to speak at the event, which comes at a time when a number of potential GOP hopefuls could be close to making a decision on 2016.
A number of potential Republican contenders in 2016 traveled to the Hawkeye State last month for GOP Rep. Steve King’s Iowa Freedom Summit, and a number will be back to the early presidential state next month for the inaugural Iowa Agriculture Summit.
