When it comes to the upcoming speech to Congress by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, The Washington Times has often referred to the real mess in the nation’s capital. This is just one more reflection of the disastrous foreign policy we have been conducting for years. Indeed, we have gone from George W. Bush’s ’wanton doctrine’ (force democracy) to Hillary and Barack’s ’sissy doctrine’ (be kind to your enemies and hostile to your friends). This is quickly taking the nation to a major war that is sure to become this administration’s lasting legacy. As an independent conservative I long for the Ronald Reagan days when enemies knew quite well what line they shouldn’t dare to cross and friends could always count on our help.
