Metropolitan Police said three men were stabbed, one fatally, in Northeast Washington, D.C., on Monday.
Officer in the 5th Police District responded to a report of a stabbing about 8:21 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of 24th Street NE. They found Lenard Wills, 50, of the District, unconscious and suffering from stab wounds.
Police found a second adult male victim with stab wounds in the 2200 block of H Street NE. A third adult male victim with related stabbing wounds was located at a hospital.
Emergency personnel transported Wills and the second victim to a hospital, where Wills later was pronounced dead. The other victims were both treated for their injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
