Savion Glover to appear in Washington, D.C.

The Howard Theatre will host three performances from dancer Savion Glover Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Northwest. 

Mr. Glover, widely regarded as a virtuoso in his field, will perform his personally developed style, which he has dubbed “freestyle hard-core.”

Mr. Glover, a native of Newark, New Jersey, has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including “SNL” and “The Jamie Foxx Show.” His performances have been motion-captured for use in the animated “Happy Feet” films for the character of Mumble as well.

Tickets are $35 each for the standing room-only performances. Each evening’s show begins at 8 p.m.
