A rare Honus Wagner baseball card sold for $1.32 million in an online auction on Monday.

An unidentified bidder picked up the T206 Honus Wagner card for $1.2 million, which did not include a buyer’s premium that bumped up the final cost to $1.32 million, Robert Edward Auctions said.

The card was rated a three on a one to 10 rating, with 10 being the best, Fox Sports reported Monday. It was produced by American Tobacco Company from 1909 and 1911.

The New Jersey-based auction house said that the record for the T206 card (fewer than 200 are believed to have been produced) was a $2.8 million bid in 2010. That card had an eight rating, Fox Sports reported.

The sports website Bleacher Report said Monday that the famous Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop had 3,420 career hits with a .328/.391/.467 slash line and led the league in total bases six times. He played from 1897 through 1917 and also did a three-year stint with the Louisville Colonels.
