FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky’s Transportation Cabinet has started an online and social media campaign to provide information about the Mountain Parkway expansion.
State officials say the 46-mile project will create a safer and wider transportation corridor to better connect eastern Kentucky with the rest of the state.
Completion of the project is a key priority for Gov. Steve Beshear, state lawmakers and the Transportation Cabinet.
The cabinet and its project team will use regular electronic communications to keep residents, property owners and business and community leaders informed about traffic impacts and construction progress.
The website, https://www.MtnParkway.com , serves as an information portal for the project with the latest information posted in the News & Events section.
