SEATTLE (AP) — As Washington’s health care exchange prepares for its second open enrollment, officials are still trying to resolve billing and computer problems for about 1,300 accounts opening in the last round of sign-ups.

Exchange officials have been struggling to correct problems with about 24,000 accounts ever since they registered for insurance during the last open enrollment period, which ended in March.

Brad Finnegan of the exchange says the last 1,300 problems should be resolved this week. And he doesn’t expect the same problems to pop up during the next round of sign-ups that begin Nov. 15.
