Trouble getting to the polls in Colorado?

Uber, the ride-on-demand application loaded onto smartphones across America, has an offer for you.

Folks who use Uber for the first time can knock $20 off their ride with a “VoteCO” promotion code, while existing customers get 10 percent off.

“On Tuesday, November 4, we all have a big decision to make in the Colorado election,” the company said on its Denver city blog. “How you get to and from the polls will be the easiest one you make all day.”

Colorado is home to a closely watched Senate race that could determine party control of the upper chamber on Capitol Hill.

Polls show Sen. Mark Udall, Colorado Democrat, could fall to Republican challenger Cory Gardner, a congressman, in Tuesday’s election.

The race has hinged on women’s issues, with the Democratic incumbent focusing on it so much he was dubbed “Mark Uterus” by some observers.
