On Jan. 29, 2014, the Obama administration began posting on the Federal Business Opportunities website ads to secure ’escort service’ contracts for up to 65,000 unaccompanied alien children. By May the situation had reached crisis level and the feds placed a gag order on our border patrol to keep the mess from the public. When asked about the developing humanitarian crisis on the southern border, the administration’s response was that they were just learning about the situation through the media.

Choreographed deception has become all too common with the Obama White House — and the American people are taking notice. It’s no wonder nearly all major media outlets (including he New York Times) have dubbed this administration the least transparent in the history of the country. Ironically this comes after the famous campaign promises declaring the very opposite.

Prior to the Senate elections another Federal Business Opportunities posting stated the need for the printing of green cards — five million to nine million to start and up to 35 million over the next five years. When the White House press secretary was asked about the content of the ad, he side-stepped and brushed it off. Soon after we learned of the president’s fervent amnesty desire for millions of undocumented (and for the most part unvetted) individuals. Both sides of the aisle agree that the immigration system needs an overhaul but the dividing question is how that happens. You don’t need to be a scholar to understand that amnesty without first securing the border will open the floodgates to all that global turmoil has to offer right now. Yet this is precisely what our president is proposing to do.

I ask that all concerned readers take a few minutes to contact Congress and add their voices to the choir.
