“Saturday Night Live” comedian Cecily Strong will headline the White House Correspondents’ dinner next spring, the group announced.

“Her political humor is sly and edgy, and it comes with a Chicago accent,” correspondents’ association President Christi Parsons said of the Oak Park, Illinois, native.

Ms. Strong will be the fourth woman to be featured at the 82-year-old event, which is scheduled for April 25. The president also speaks at the dinner each year, tossing barbs at lawmakers and journalists.
