OPINION:
I’d like to say thank you to all those who supported the principles for which I stand. What a great turnout in Carroll County. We made such a difference statewide; contested elections build voter turnout. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to my hundreds of enthusiastic workers and supporters. Team Frazier had a great time at the polls. We saw God’s favor in everything we did throughout the campaign.
In politics perception is often reality. But in reality the truth remains as follows:
Government cannot spend on everything without raising taxes.
Representatives that go along to get along with liberal policies will go along the path of socialism until we find ourselves (and worse, find our children) enslaved by government.
Unions and PACs played a huge and dangerous role in our local elections this year. If voters don’t stop machine politics from electing our representatives, the people will lose their voice, and we will no longer be a republic.
Thank you to everyone who took a moment to lift us up in prayer; our campaign was evidence of prayers answered. I am excited about following His will in my life as I prayerfully move forward.
Congratulations to all those who were elected to serve the people. May God give you all the wisdom and strength needed to stand against ever-increasing government power as we meet the challenges ahead.
Barack Obama is still president, and we have not seen the last of outgoing Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley. Please continue to pray for our country, our state and our county.
