BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (AP) - Bluefield State College officials are looking for people responsible for the theft of credit cards from a campus office.
College spokesman Jim Nelson says security cameras recorded two males on the same floor of the physical education building at the time the thefts were reported there Wednesday.
The Bluefield Daily Telegraph (https://tinyurl.com/kv235y4) reports an employee who had left to use a bathroom passed two males upon returning and then noticed the credit cards missing. Nelson says the employee later received a text message that a transaction was made on one of the missing credit cards at a store in Bluefield, Virginia.
Nelson says security video also shows some items were disturbed or taken from an alumni office.
College president Marsha Krotseng informed students and faculty about the thefts Thursday.
