WESTON, Wis. (AP) - A 13-year-old central Wisconsin boy is OK after firefighters pulled him from a muddy hole dug by utility crews.

The boy was playing with his brother at the Green Acres mobile home park in Weston Wednesday. Authorities say the boy was helping his brother out of the hole when he got stuck. Neighbors began digging to free the boy, but then called 911.

The South Area Fire District trench team rescued the child, who was not seriously injured. WAOW-TV (https://bit.ly/1j57ac9 ) says Wisconsin Public Service plans to repair the hole Thursday.
