SEAL BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve arrested a suspected burglar who was wearing women’s clothes stolen from a suburban Los Angeles home.
Police say a woman reported someone had ransacked her beachside home in Seal Beach on Monday night or Tuesday morning, stealing about $100 worth of clothing.
Sgt. Philip Gonshak tells the Los Angeles Times (https://bit.ly/1g0qA7B ) that on Tuesday, police saw a man walking down a road wearing women’s tight, black dress pants and a green blouse.
Gonshak says officers checked with the woman, who confirmed those were her stolen clothes.
Forty-one-year-old Antonio Nelton of Long Beach was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possessing stolen property. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.
