GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Officials say flowers and flags have been taken from gravestones in a cemetery in Michigan’s northwestern Lower Peninsula.

WPBN-WTOM report (https://bit.ly/Rrvsak ) Thursday that Greenwood Township Supervisor Robin Hartoon noticed the missing items Tuesday evening. Some of them were later found around the Wexford County cemetery and others in a man’s truck.

Hartoon says she wasn’t aware of any charges being filed.

Officials say those who placed flowers and flags on gravestones can claim them.
