LAS VEGAS (AP) - Fire investigators are probing the cause of a two-alarm blaze that destroyed one home under construction and damaged two others overnight in southwest Las Vegas.
No injuries were reported.
Deputy Clark County Fire Chief Jon Klassen says neighbors summoned firefighters about 1 a.m. Thursday to the fire on Rainford Road. That’s near Warm Springs and Fort Apache roads.
Firefighters battled flames for more than 30 minutes before bringing the fire under control.
Klassen says one unfinished home was a total loss. One home had heavy fire damage, and another received minor damage.
The cost of the damage is estimated at about $250,000.
