SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have discovered the bodies of two people inside a San Francisco Bay Area mobile home that was destroyed by fire.

Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Capt. Jeff Hunter said the victims of the early Thursday morning fire have not been identified, but investigators suspect they are the parents of a man who escaped.

KTVU-TV reports that firefighters were called to the scene around 2 a.m. and found the home engulfed in smoke and flames when they arrived.

Television news footage later in the morning showed firefighters going through the debris.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. It was not immediately clear whether the home had smoke detectors.
