SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A Shreveport student faces charges after allegedly taking weapons to school.
KSLA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/RpJ45G ) police arrested an 11-year-old boy just after 1 p.m. Monday at the Alexander Learning Center.
School officials told police the child had been seen with a stun gun and a utility style knife on the campus. Police said the student was seen holding the stun gun during class, though no students or faculty were injured.
The child was booked on a charge of illegal carrying of a weapon. The student’s name has not been released because of his age.
