TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Topeka police say a man died after he was hit by a train in the city.

Emergency crews found the man’s body early Wednesday after BNSF Railway reported that one of its trains hit a person on the tracks.

Investigators are trying to determine why the man was on the tracks.



The name of the victim has not been released.
