BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A furniture store in Vermont is planning to reopen this summer after it was damaged by fire last year.
LaFlamme’s furniture is scheduled to reopen its Bennington store in August at the former Alcaro Motor Sales dealership.
The Bennington Banner reports (https://bit.ly/1fOXesm) rebuilding at the original location would have been a challenge due to new state laws on flood zones.
Its large outdoor landmark, a big chair, isn’t going anywhere.
