ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty are being honored in Asheville.

The 2014 North Carolina Peace Officers Memorial Day Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday in Asheville. The day is sponsored by the N.C. Department of Justice and is being held at Trinity Baptist Church.
