SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Santa Fe police say they’re trying to identify both the driver and the pedestrian who was struck in a fatal hit-and-run accident.
Police say the unidentified victim is man is believed to be a transient in his mi-30s.
According to police, he was a sun tattoo on his left middle figure and extensive tattoos on his left arm.
Police say the man was not using a crosswalk when he was hit while crossing Saint Francis Drive Sunday night.
The vehicle is described as a mid or late 1990s Jeep Grand Cherokee that probably had damage to the front driver’s side.
