ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police say a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle.
Police say the vehicle-pedestrian collision occurred shortly after 11:15 p.m. Sunday on Tudor Road near the intersection of Florina Street.
According to police, the collision occurred about 100 yards from a crosswalk.
KTUU (https://is.gd/UobYUx) says the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead there just before 11:40 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the woman driving the vehicle that struck the pedestrian is cooperating in the investigation.
