LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A three-day bourbon party is planned this fall in Lexington, called the Bourbon Social.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (https://bit.ly/1hlrshX ) says Spirits from Buffalo Trace, Beam, Woodford Reserve and craft distiller Barrel House are in the lineup for the event Oct. 10 to 12.

Activities include a cocktail competition, food pairings and a celebration of Southern cuisine and Kentucky Proud products.

The cost ranges from $35 to $200, with partial proceeds benefiting the Makenna Foundation. The foundation raises money for the University of Kentucky’s pediatric emergency room.
