Utica sells 15 properties at auction for $465,000

UTICA, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Utica has sold 16 properties at auction for a total of $465,000 in net revenue.

The Observer-Dispatch of Utica reports (https://bit.ly/1khCZn9 ) that the city sold 15 of 16 properties at its May 28 auction.

The highest-selling bid was $72,600 for a property on Mohawk Street.

Mayor Robert Palmieri said he was pleased with the results of the auction.

All of the money generated from the auction will go into the city’s general fund.
