BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota Department of Corrections is investigating allegations of off-duty misconduct by two state penitentiary officers.
Department of Corrections Director Leann Bertsch described the matter to The Bismarck Tribune Friday night as “typical employee disciplinary actions.” Bertsch didn’t go into further detail.
Public Information Officer Tim Tausend also tells KXMB-TV an additional two officers resigned Friday. It’s unclear whether the resignations were related to the investigation.
