St Martin Parish declares ‘no wake’ zone

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (AP) - The St. Martin Parish president has declared a “no wake” zone in lower St. Martin Parish due to high water.

KATC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1hk3d9F ) the affected areas include the danger areas in the Stephensville and Belle River areas of Lower St. Martin Parish until further notice.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, along with state Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will be enforcing the “no wake” zones.
