OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a man found dead inside an Ogden storage shed was likely killed deliberately.
Ogden police said in a news release Friday that they are investigating the death of 43-year-old Elgie Ray Mills as a homicide.
Investigators are talking with several witnesses and serving search warrants in multiple locations.
They are looking for a 45-year-old man who they believe was with Mills close to the time of his death. They are calling this man a person of interest.
A woman called police Thursday night to let them know she had found Mills’ body in the storage unit.
Online court records show that Mills was released from jail in early April after serving time on convictions of violating a protective order and interfering with an arresting officer in a domestic abuse case.
