STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Nick Hoffman, managing editor of The Courier-Express in Dubois, has been elected president of Pennsylvania Associated Press Managing Editors.

Hoffman was named to the post at the group’s annual conference Friday.

Nick Falsone, managing editor of The Express-Times in Easton, was elected vice president, and Andy Heintzelman, managing editor of The News-Item in Shamokin, will serve as secretary.



Hoffman succeeds Patricia Walker, executive editor for Calkins Media in Levittown, as president.

Two new board members were elected: Shane Fitzgerald, executive editor of the Beaver County Times, and George Spohr, executive editor of the Times Leader in Wilkes-Barre.
