LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Shawn Reese will be the new chief executive officer of the Wyoming Business Council.

Reese was selected Thursday by the 15-member Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors during their meeting in Laramie.

Board Co-Chairman Rex Lewis says terms of Reese’s employment have not yet been completed. The job will pay between $120,000 and $150,000.

Reese worked for the Business Council previously from 2003-11.

He has been Gov. Matt Mead’s policy director most recently, overseeing a staff of advisers and analysts on a range of issues.

He replaces former CEO Bob Jensen, who resigned on March 28.
