PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s office has announced that tours of the governor’s mansion will resume in June.
This is the fourth season of tours and begins June 4. They will take place every Wednesday in June, July and August at 1 and 2 p.m.
Volunteers, including First Lady Linda Daugaard, will lead tours of up to 30 people.
She says the mansion belongs to all South Dakotans and she invites all, “to enjoy this special home.”
She says some special items will be on display for the state’s 125 anniversary.
Tickets for the tour are free, but must be collected in advance from the Pierre Chamber of Commerce.
