PIERCE, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have identified three people killed in the rollover crash of a sport utility vehicle in Pierce County earlier this week that also injured six others.

Pierce County Attorney Verlyn Luebbe tells the Lincoln Journal Star (https://bit.ly/1nTz2HS) that the Monday morning crash on Highway 81 in northeast Nebraska killed 41-year-old Pablo Chilel Escobar; 29-year-old Mario Adan DeJesus Pinedo; and 24-year-old Hugo Iglecias Moreno.

Those men and six others in the vehicle were ejected from the SUV when it left the highway and rolled.

Luebbe says it appears a tire blew out, causing the 31-year-old driver to lose control. Investigators say the men -none of whom were wearing seat belts - were on their way to work at a construction site when the crash occurred.
