PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Police say a man has become Providence’s fifth homicide victim of the year.

The man was shot Friday evening. Authorities did not identify the man but said he was in his early 20s.

Police Chief Hugh T. Clements Jr. tells the Providence Journal (https://bit.ly/1lJITgX ) investigators are trying to determine if a second person was also wounded.



No arrests have been made.
