DENVER (AP) - A man suspected in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge has been arrested.

The Denver Post reports (https://bit.ly/1nehQKB ) 23-year-old Alton Kirkland was arrested Friday night on charges of felony menacing and vehicular homicide. He is being held at the Jefferson County jail.

Kirkland is accused of causing a three-car collision earlier in the night and fleeing the scene, leaving an injured woman and two children in his own car and a man dead in another car.



Police have not released the names of the victims.
