DENVER (AP) - An Adams County judge has modified the bond for a former Adams County sheriff’s deputy accused of sexually assaulting a child.

The Denver Post reports (https://bit.ly/SkSQaz ) 37-year-old Henry Ford II was being held on a $100,000 cash bond, but that was reduced Friday as a split bond of $50,000 cash or surety and $50,000 of personal recognizance.

Ford, an eight-year veteran of the department, is facing four charges, including sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust and sexual assault as a pattern of abuse.

He is being held at the Boulder County jail.
