SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A 28-year-old San Antonio man is held on $400,000 bond after a shooting spree left two men dead and another near death.
San Antonio police are trying to determine what set off Charles Ray Hall.
The first victim was 50-year-old Rogelio Ramos, who was gunned down Monday night after an apparent altercation with Hall.
Police say a 67-year-old man, Lawrence Carroll, was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon after he answered Hall’s knock on his apartment door. Then Tuesday evening a security guard at Carroll’s apartment complex was shot and seriously wounded.
Hall was found sitting on a bench nearby. Court documents reviewed by the San Antonio Express-News (https://bit.ly/1lTjHS2 ) show he’s acknowledged the shootings. Records show he has a record that includes burglary and credit card abuse convictions.
