SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a Vermont man has been accused of transmitting and receiving images and movies over the Internet of children as young as infants engaging in sexual activity.
Scott Cota of Ferriburgh has been charged with promoting a recording of sexual conduct of a child and possession of child pornography.
Police said the investigation began when police in Las Vegas determined that a resident there had transmitted a movie to a Vermont man, later identified as the 41-year-old Cota.
Cota was arrested Wednesday. It was not immediately known if he had a lawyer.
