SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (AP) - The attorney for a man accused of breaking into a Northern California home and climbing naked into a 13-year-old boy’s bed says her client was drunk and doesn’t remember the events.

Thirty-four-year-old Cesar Lopez-Villagres pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to charges of burglary, trespassing and annoying or molesting a child.

San Rafael police say the boy woke up on Friday night to find a naked man in his bed. Spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher tells the Marin Independent Journal (https://bit.ly/1pBmwuF) the boy ran to his mother’s bed nearby, and the man stood naked over them before putting on his underwear and fleeing.

Police allegedly found Lopez-Villagres in his boxer shorts in a nearby parking lot.

Lopez-Villagres’ attorney, Eva Bennett, says her client has no prior criminal history.
