BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) - For the second this week police in Bristol are investigating a threat that led to early dismissal of students at a high school.

Bristol Eastern High School was evacuated on Thursday morning after the police department’s school resource officer became aware of a possible threat to students. Staff later returned to the building after a police search found nothing of concern.

Police say the incident does not appear directly related to an episode Tuesday at Central High School where the building was evacuated after a bomb threat was found written on a desk.
