PLAQUEMINE, La. (AP) - State police say two Denham Springs men have died in a single vehicle crash on La. Highway 1148 in Iberville Parish.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Trooper Jared L. Sandifer says a pickup driven by 53-year-old Charles Pope ran off the road, struck a tree and caught fire.
Sandifer says Pope and his passenger, 52-year-old Maurice Cormier, were pronounced dead at the scene.
