BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Yellowstone County officials have identified the man whose body was found in a Billings park last week and Sheriff Mike Linder says the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Linder said Tuesday that officials haven’t yet determined the cause of death for 47-year-old Jack Jason Cox of Billings.

Two people walking in Coulson Park spotted the body in some underbrush at about 6 p.m. on May 21. The sheriff’s office has said Cox’s body had probably been in the park for months.
